My friend Rudy Aslee Kedizan received an unexpected visitor today at Yayasan Senang Hati - a Kupu-Kupu Barong Butterfly! The triangular shapes edged in black are see-through, and the wingspan is about 8 inches! For more photos, check his facebook

My knitting friends at Yayasan Senang Hati (http://www.senanghati.org/) received generous donations of assorted yarns from Mary K, her friends & family from the USA.

Above: A baby afghan in progress. From yummy soft Sirdar Snuggly pink yarn with speckles of other colors - 4 skeins were donated.
Rotaractor Tika and Ibu Ayu working on their current projects. Tika is using Variegated (I think Red Heart) to make a "sideways" scarf - cast on 200+ stitches, then a wavy pattern (Old Shale - type). Ayu is using Navy Homespun for a top-down cap that will have a bit of a lace pattern at the brim.

Rotaractor Tika and Ibu Ayu display a scarf of modular blocks, made in 1.5 weeks by Ibu Eka from Gemala, using the same variegated that Tika is now using (there were 3-4 skeins!). Eka gave it to Yayasan Senang Hati to sell, and I think Tika will buy it as soon as Ayu gets their accountant to price it!
